What is Run Strong Basic?
A class-based four-week training plan designed to increase your body’s ability to tolerate the high loads of running. Every week I will host 2 x 45 min live classes via Zoom which will progress week on week for the duration the block.
The next block of classes begins on Wednesday 31st March 2021 at 7pm and includes a mini virtual retreat on Sunday 18th April 9:30am-12:00pm to celebrate Run Strong turning ONE!
Exact details tbc, but expect a Run Strong workout, a running masterclass (hopefully psychology focussed), and a surprise activity to keep you entertained (which may or may not include food!). We also have the wonderful Emma Collins-Jones joining us for a massage ball class to improve mobility for running and aid recovery. You can find out more about Emma by clicking here.
What should I expect from the home based workouts?
There are two classes a week; Wednesday at 7pm and Sunday at 9:00am. These home based workouts will focus on strength, stability, core and mobility and will include a suitable warm up. Wednesday classes are a whole body strength workout and Sunday classes start with mobility section followed by a workout that focusses on one aspect of strength important for runners. Neither class requires any specialist equipment. All classes are run via Zoom.
What do I get for my money?
The cost of the membership is £30 per four-week block. This includes:
